fear is the mindkiller

So, did the hurricane come yet? I had a light rain shower and some pretty awesome wind (tho not even enough to knock my garbage can over), but I slept through most ov it. All those poor scared bastards having to go through all that shit- we're supposed to be fighting terrorism. What is the ultimate goal ov terrorism? Simple: terror. The news media are bigger terrorists than any foreign clan could ever be. They knew that the hurricane would fall back down from a class 5 to a class 4 or 3 (like they always do), but kept trying to freak people out. Anything to keep people from changing the channel. Everybody acted like I was stupid when I was telling people to calm down- they come up with this shit about once every 5 or 8 years- "The hurricane of the century!!". Now, things are much worse. The only people to win are the gas companies, and the media.
Just remember- I don't know how many ov you saw the movie "Dune", but it has a very important, and intelligent message in it: "Fear is the mind killer". Don't make choices out ov fear. Calm down, think rationally (even if no one else is). Don't be goaded by terrorists. Even our local, news media ones.
I rented the new Hellraiser movie "Hellworld", which was not very good overall, but not as bad as I was thinking it would be. It had Lance Henrickson in it, who I like a lot. I haven't seen any since #3, which wasn't very good (this one is like #9 or so!).
I'm hungry, and everything is closed. The movie theaters are closed, and I want to see "The Corpse Bride". KTRU is down. Guess I'll go make some food.
